ABOUT HER WORK PHILOSOPHY

All healing is a co-creative process of self healing.

In the practice of healing work my job is to empower a client in the process of self healing. It’s not necessary to intellectually understand how the process works for it to happen. We heal in ignorance all the time! Science does well to describe what can be observed with the five senses and often offers life saving information, but cuts can heal with or without observation based understanding.

This is the beauty of it all, yet healing can also be confusing and seem elusive when there is fear about the process or distrust. Most people fear what they do not understand while also being conditioned to give their power away.

Healers are more like mirrors, they are more like the wires that conduct the current running through them, but they are not the source or provider of the energy.

My role and work is only to use any skills, tools, abilities, knowledge, time, and intuition to facilitate an environment that is supportive of healing. This may be with sounds/music, smells, touch, laying of the hands, anointing with oil or water, assistance of herbs or even just a conversation. In this space you are more open to healing yourself.

That’s why you come in for a session, to remove yourself from environments that do the opposite of healing. The real work for you is to create the environments and lifestyle habits a part of your everyday life.

In other words if you are seeking a way to continue to maintain unhealthy patterns, addictions, unhealthy habits and want quick temporary fixes, give away your power removing responsibility to yourself, then this work is not for you at this time. And that’s okay! Each person’s journey is unique and I support your desire to find your way.”
