Marlan is a Reiki Master/Teacher who received training in 1984 at the Los Angeles Reiki Center from Joyce J. Morris, the 44th Reiki Master in the true Usui Shiki Ryoho lineage (the original Japanese branch of Reiki). In addition to teaching Reiki I and II, Marlan treats clients in private healing sessions. Her practice also includes Animal Reiki. In addition to her Reiki practice, Marlan is an accomplished Tai Chi/Chi Gong practitioner.
